Hawkeye Season 1 Finale Ending Explained

A lot has happened and we finally get some answers but there remain some huge questions that leave everyone excited for what is to come for the future of MCU after Hawkeye. Here is a quick rundown of everything that happened in Episode 6, the finale and what ensued at the ending of Season 1 of the show.

Eleanor quits on Kingpin and this gave him a reason to make her a target. Kate finally reveals to Clint why she looks at him as an inspiration because he saved her when she was a child and that if he could be a hero, anyone can. A battle with the Tracksuit mafia ensued in a formal event they attended. Kate and Clint got the help they need with the LARPers being there.

Maya turned her back on Kingpin and she asks some time off to clear her mind. It was later revealed that Kazi has been on her side because her position in the team is the one that he has been working for since the start.

Yelena finally realizes that Clint didn’t kill Natasha and that she sacrificed herself to the point that no one stopped her, nor could anyone give it a try. Yelena learned how Natasha loves her so much and that she has always been the reason for her actions.

As for Kingpin, well, Kate fought him one on one and she won thanks to a trick arrow. Still, even when her mother decided to save her, Kate sent her to prison for killing Armand and framing Jack Duquesne who has no idea of everything. Kate chose to be the bigger person and imprisoned her mother.

In the end, Clint comes home in time for Christmas and it is finally revealed that Laura owns the watch, one with a S.H.I.E.L.D. logo behind it. Kate and Lucky the Pizza Dog were with them as well. Lastly, Kate and Clint burned the Ronin costume and said their farewell to the mess they made.

There is no confirmation yet whether there would be another season of Hawkeye but what is sure is that there would be a spinoff, Echo, wherein the story of Maya Lopez will be looked at in a deeper perspective.
