It's finally time for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3 Episode 3 and things got interesting at the Swordsmith Village. Hotaru Haganezuka has returned to help Tanjiro Kamado get a new sword and fans can't help but notice that the swordsmith is totally ripped.
In Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 3, Tanjiro and Kotetsu discovered an ancient sword hidden inside the mechanical battle doll Yoriichi Type Zero. When they realize that the sword is rusted over, they decide it will need to be repaired.
That's when Haganezuka emerged from the woods. The swordsmith has been snooping on the boys and decided that it was his duty to fix the sword. Tanjiro resists but Haganezuka refuses to back down until Kozo Kanamori drops in and tickles the swordsmith until he falls asleep.
It's a comedic sequence but Demon Slayer fans are distracted by the shirtless Haganezuka's buff appearance.
We can't really blame people for being shocked about Haganezuka's ripped body. After all, the character is seen as a comedic one because of his short temper and tendency to overreact whenever Tanjiro damages his sword. Most fans certainly didn't expect Haganezuka to have a physique that could rival even Tengen Uzui himself so the reveal in Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 3 was an awesome surprise.
As astounding as it was to see Haganezuka without his shirt, fans should also prepare for his upcoming face reveal. Manga readers are already hyping up the only time that the swordsmith loses his mask later in the story.
Demon Slayer Season 3 Episode 3 also featured the debut of the demon Hantengu's clones who immediately went after Tanjiro, Muichiro Tokito, and Nezuko.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 3 Episode 3 is titled A Sword from Over 300 Years Ago ("Sanbyaku-nen Ijo Mae no Katana"). The fourth episode is titled Thank You Tokito ("Tokito-kun Arigato") and will premiere on Sunday, April 30, 2023.
