Daredevil’s Karen Page Actor Wants To Return In ‘Born Again’ Reboot

Deborah Ann Woll, who plays Karen Page on Daredevil, shares she wants to appear in the show’s reboot, Daredevil: Born Again with Charlie Cox.

Recently speaking on the Inside of You podcast, when asked whether she will be reprising her role as Karen Page in Daredevil: Born Again, the actor simply says:

“I can say this: they have not called me yet. So as of now, I am not a part of it.”

The actor adds how much she would want to be contacted immediately, even jokingly saying how the studio knows where she lives, how to reach her, expressing her interest to be involved again in the series. Woll knows how badly the fans want to finish the show on a good note, and she clearly shares the sentiment.

“I would be thrilled to get a part of it. They know where I am. Like I said, I love [the character] Karen Page. I love telling that story. I feel like I have more to say. But it is up to them what kind of story that they want to tell.”

Karen Page played an instrumental role in bringing the show together, even more so once Matt Murdock saves her from a falsely accused murder upon her investigation in uncovering the truth. This not only ended up highlighting Murdock’s character, but also in figuring out the dynamics between these two characters on the show.

With Daredevil being canceled after just three seasons in 2018, Woll was quick to address how the show deserves the reboot, even though there are no updates yet whether Marvel will be asking her to reprise her role or not.

“The Marvel series feels unfinished to me because we got canceled when we thought we were going to have more. There’s a part of me that was like, ‘I had more to say about Karen,’ and I felt I was in the middle of that story.”

It was at Marvel’s San Diego Comic-Con 2022 panel when Kevin Feige officially announced that Daredevil: Born Again was reportedly in the works. Although plot details are being kept under wraps, Daredevil: Born Again is slated for release in Spring 2024, with 18 episodes.
