Deborah Ann Woll Addresses Spider-Man 3 Karen Page Cameo

People are undoubtedly hyped up after seeing a photo of Kirsten Dunst and Deborah Ann Woll heading for the Spider-Man: No Way Home set. After all, this certainly confirms that Mary Jane Watson and Karen Page will both appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel, right? Interestingly, Woll has addressed her possible appearance in Spider-Man 3 and things might not be what they seem.

Woll had previously played Karen Page in the Marvel Netflix shows Daredevil, The Punisher, and The Defenders. Unfortunately, the shows were all canceled and it seemed like we would never see the characters again. However, the photo of Dunst and someone who looked like Woll seemed to confirm that Karen will be crossing over to the MCU.

So is Karen Page finally showing up in the MCU? Woll has actually seen the photo and debunked the Spider-Man 3 cameo by replying to a post that shared the image.

Woll's denial sounds final and others have pointed out that the woman in the photo is actually a friend of Dunst. However, fans are unconvinced, believing that Woll is trying to keep her appearance in Spider-Man 3 a secret. With that in mind, the only way to be sure is to see her filming as Karen on the set.

Woll isn't the only Daredevil star who is expected to show up in No Way Home. There have been speculations that Charlie Cox will also reprise his role as Matt Murdock in the sequel. However, the cameos have not yet been confirmed so it's best to take it with a grain of salt.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is currently in production and is scheduled for release on December 17, 2021.
