Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Part 2 Release Date
As of this update, an official announcement has yet to be made regarding the release date of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Part 2. What we can say for now is that production is already ongoing.
Currently, rumors have begun spreading online amongst fans regarding Part 2's possible release date.
The manga also took a short break after the anime's first part ended.
Thankfully, manga readers need not wait so long anymore, as Boruto: Two Blue Vortex came out beginning August 21, 2023.
Given this, some fans believed that the anime's next part would come out in late October 2023, though this only turned out to be a rumor.
Release dates are usually announced right after a show's sequel or Part 2 gets confirmed, but the same cannot be said for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Part 2 Trailer
Currently, there is no trailer available yet for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Part 2. This is because the next part is still in the production phase.
Boruto Part 1 certainly ended with a major cliffhanger as the anime was able to catch up with the manga source material after a series of filler episodes.
This caused manga fans to feel excited about the upcoming season as more of the main arc will hopefully get animated soon.
Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Episode 293 Recap
Boruto Part 1 ended with Episode 293, titled Farewell. The episode starts with flashbacks showing how Boruto has grown up until the present time.
Viewers then realize that they were Naruto’s memories as he cannot believe Boruto died.
In the previous episodes, Boruto and Kawaki had come face to face. It was then that Boruto decided to die at his sworn brother’s hands.
Shikamaru suggested that Kawaki be punished, but Naruto disagreed and sided with Kawaki.
Even Code did not expect Boruto’s death. Meanwhile, Eida voiced out that Kawaki should not be sacrificed as well.
Code decided to flee, though we expect to see more of him in Part 2.
Boruto was revived by Momoshiki afterward, causing the former to turn into an Otsutsuki instead of a Uzumaki.
Momoshiki warned Boruto that Code would return soon and that he must be ready by then.

What Will Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Part 2 Be About?
With such an intense episode wrapping up Boruto Part 1, there are a lot of expectations for Part 2 should the anime follow the manga faithfully.
Fans expect to see the timeskip, just like how Naruto transitioned to Naruto Shippuden.
However, there is also a chance that the upcoming episodes will be another set of fillers.
