Without spoiling much, Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 4 is going to cover the very last chapters of the manga.

Part 3 of the infamous, twisted fourth season (also known as Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 3, Part 1) covered the manga's Volume 33, namely Chapters 131 to 134.

In total, the Attack on Titan manga counts 139 chapters, coming down to the very last volume, Volume 34, which finally wraps up the story for good.

That being said, Part 3 did skip a few key scenes. We wouldn't be surprised if these were incorporated in the series' very last episode.

After all, five chapters aren't too much for a one-hour episode like what Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 4 is going to be; this number of chapters is often covered in less.

Part 4 will likely provide peak emotional intensity, so we can understand why it needed so much space. But it might still manage to fit deleted scenes from the recently-released Part 3.

Given that the manga is already completed, we won't reveal the key plot points we expect to see in the final installments of the fantasy anime.

However, if you've followed Attack on Titan since day 1, bring tissues along.

Soon after the release of Part 3, the official Attack on Titan website released the following announcement:

It has been decided that the TV anime Attack on Titan The Final Season Concluding Part (Part 2) will be broadcast in the fall of 2023!

Given that studio MAPPA's Season 4 of Attack on Titan has already spanned more than two years, this additional delay for the finale is disappointing for fans.

At least, we won't have to wait for over a year this time.

There had been significant debate as to whether the Attack on Titan finale will be a movie and its unorthodox release schedule. This time, we really do expect the upcoming installment to be the last.

Even ignoring the fact that fans are tired of waiting, there is really not much content left to adapt at this point.

With only five manga chapters left to adapt, a one-hour special is the maximum screen time we can imagine.

Of course, we will keep you updated on any potential spin-offs or other additional content as they get announced.
