tvN's upcoming Kdrama The Road: Tragedy Of One is a mystery drama set in the luxurious neighborhood where the top 1% of Koreans live. The series revolves around the dark secrets and scandals of the residents of the "Royal The Hill."

Ji Jin-Hee will portray the character of Baek Soo Hyun, a credible news anchor who has a cold-blooded side unknown to many. SKY Castle actress Yoon Se Ah will star as a privileged heiress of one of South Korea's biggest conglomerates named Seo Eun Soo. Her character seems to have everything she lays her eyes on and will do everything to protect her precious family.

Another character to watch out for is Cha Seo Young, which will be played by Kim Hye Eun. Cha Seo Young is an ambitious news anchor who gets involved in a tragedy that took place in the neighborhood.

Mystery and suspense will make the story much more interesting. As a tragic incident takes place on a night in the pouring rain, Seo Eun Soo tries to discover what caused the sudden tragedies in her life. As the night grew deeper, the silence that tries to cover up many entangled secrets leads to another tragedy on the same day.

The Road: Tragedy Of One will air its episodes every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:50 PM KST on tvN. All episodes will be simultaneously available for online streaming through iQiyi. English subtitles will also be included.

The Second Husband is a dramatic romance drama that tells the story of a woman who loses her family and eventually seeks revenge for the incident that happened. This MBC upcoming drama will star Uhm Hyun Kyung as Bong Sun Hwa, who is being framed by her first husband Moon Sang Hyuk (Han Ki Woong) for murder.

On the other hand, Cha Seo Won will portray the character of Yoon Jae Min, Bong Sun Hwa's second husband, who, in contrast to her first husband, has a great personality and pleasing visuals.

Making the storyline interesting, a series of betrayals will surround the lead characters. Specifically, Yoon Jae Min's half-sister Yoon Jae Kyung (Oh Seung Ah) and Moon Sang Hyuk are in a strategic relationship to gain success.

The Second Husband will start airing on August 9 and will release new episodes on weekdays at 7:05 PM KST on MBC. English subtitled episode highlights will also be available in KOCOWA.

Police University is a new Korean drama series set on an elite police university campus. The series will portray the chaotic relationship between the passionate detective-turned-professor Yoo Dong Man (Cha Tae Hyun), who dedicates his life to chasing criminals, and the former hacker Kang Sun Ho (Jung Jin Young) who becomes his student in the police university.

Basically, the drama will portray realistic conflicts and interactions between a university professor and his troublemaker students, who all wanted to pursue their dreams as police officers.

Former f(x) member Krystal Jung will also star in the KBS2 drama as Oh Kang Hee, a new student who has a powerful sense of justice and a straightforward personality. The actress is expected to show impressive chemistry with Cha Tae Hyun and Jung Jin Young as they solve cases while learning from each other.

Police University is scheduled to release its first episode on August 9. The Kdrama will air every Monday and Tuesday at 9:30 PM KST on KBS2. Consecutively, the episodes will be available for online streaming through Viki and KOCOWA.

Check Out The Event is a mellow and romance drama that tells the story of ex-lovers Ha Song Yi (Bang Minah) and Park Do Gyeom (Kwon Hwa Woon), who win a couple-trip event that they entered before ending things between them. The two try to pretend that they are still a couple and participate in the couple trip event along with other couples in Jeju Island.

D.P. will revolve around the difficult mission of Private Ahn Joon-ho (Jung Hae In), who suddenly ends up becoming a member of the "Deserter Pursuit" unit. The unit tracks down military deserters.

Private Ahn will take the lead after being recognized by a senior officer for his impressive skills. How he handles and overcomes this new responsibility is a huge factor to have viewers anticipate for its upcoming release.

Actors Koo Kyo-hwan and Kim Sung Kyun will play as soldiers included in the D.P. unit. At the same time, Son Seok Koo will portray the character of a military official that disapproves of the members of the unit.

Based on a webtoon penned by artist Kim Bo-tong, the piece exceeded 10 million views for its interesting and realistic view of the many violence and human rights violations committed inside the military.

As Hong Cheon Gi stays in the palace for the Dohwaseo (Korean Royal Academy of Painting), she gets entangled in a love triangle with Ha Ram (Ahn Hyo Seop), a blind officer who is knowledgeable in astronomy and meteorology, and the Grand Prince Anpyeong (Gong Myung), who has an interest with arts.
