A lot of chasing and running happen when the Deserter Pursuit team tries to go undercover and track down and bring back the military soldiers who escaped the camp. The newly released ensemble poster and main trailer for the upcoming Netflix Kdrama D.P. feature Ahn Jun Ho and Han Ho Yeol who run after military deserters with various stories that will make them realize the reality.
Based on the award-winning webtoon penned by Kim Bo-tong, D.P. will be directed by the 2016 Baeksang Awards' Best New Director for the film Coin Locker Girl, Han Jun-hee. The series will star Jung Hae In as Ahn Jun Ho, a private officer newly recruited for the D.P. team, and Goo Kyo Hwan as Han Ho Yeol, the team leader of the squad.

Tension surrounds Jung Hae In and Goo Kyo Hwan in a task to bring back the military deserters
The new image poster for Kdrama D.P. released shows Jun Ho and Ho Yeol working undercover in plain clothes as regular civilians in order to track down the military deserters. Ho Yeol seems to be relaxed and natural with his job as he spins the handcuffs in his hand while glancing at Jun Ho, whose rigid and stiff as he is just a new recruit soldier trying to have his tasks quietly solved.
Attention is focused on the different stories of the deserters the two will track down and what kind of chemistry will these main leads with opposite personalities have to help the team succeed in its mission. In addition, the poster has a caption that reads, "Bring them back. ‘Safely'," which further heightened anticipation for the Kdrama's release.

Jung Hae In, Goo Kyo Hwan go undercover in the new trailer for Kdrama D.P.
Released alongside the poster, the main trailer for Netflix Kdrama D.P. features Ahn Jun Ho and Han Ho Yeol, who seem to get closer than before, starting their hunt for the deserters.
If it looks easy to bring back cats who lost their way home, Jun Ho and Ho Yeol have not the slightest of it when tracking down the soldiers.
The trailer sees Jun Ho with a puzzled expression as he tries to understand the harsh reality of life inside the military. With superiority and power, the soldiers get entangled in physically and mentally exhausting training and work as well as abusive treatments from senior officers.
With a mission to bring the soldiers back "safely," Jun Ho and Ho Yeol disguise themselves as tourists in Busan. Ho Yeol, as the team leader of D.P., advises the youngest member Jun Ho and gave him the different types of military deserters.
"We have two kinds of deserters. An unpredictable kind, which you have no idea what they'll do. And an intimidating kind, the ones who are scary and hard to catch."
The trailer displayed a sense of comedy and action that will properly blend in the emotional moments with the family members who the deserters left behind. By the end of the trailer, a question from Jun Ho who seems to have many curiosities, asks "If he weren't enlisted in the military, he wouldn't have to escape, right?"

When will Kdrama D.P. release?
The forthcoming Netflix Kdrama D.P. is scheduled to be released on August 27, 2021. The total number of episodes is yet to be unveiled but most Kdrama series have at least 12-16 episodes so it's safe to assume that D.P. will have episodes in between those numbers.
