What is the storyline of Police University Kdrama?
Police University is a new Korean drama series set on an elite police university campus. Basically, the drama will portray realistic conflicts and interactions between a university professor and his troublemaker students, who all wanted to pursue their dreams as police officers.
Who is the cast of Police University Kdrama?
Police University stars B1A4's Jinyoung as Kang Sun Ho, a former hacker who dreams to get into the campus to pursue his dream as a police officer. Former f(x) member Krystal Jung will also decorate the scene as Oh Kang Hee, an intelligent first-year student who eventually forms a team with Kang Sun Ho.
Actor Cha Tae Hyun will portray the role of Yoo Dong Man, a professor in the Police University who has 20 years of experience in criminal homicide and cyber investigation.
This phenomenal cast was rather exciting! According to the Kdrama's producers, Cha Tae Hyun, Jinyoung, and Krystal all have different charms yet they show brilliant synergy through perfect harmony.

The comical trailer for Police University Kdrama
Days after the official announcement of the release of the Kdrama, loads of content have been unveiled to attract viewers. KBS2 TV has shared another fun-filled teaser that shows some scenes to watch out for.
As the storyline goes, the trailer already showed a glimpse of the impressive chemistry between the cast. In particular, Kang Sun Ho hilariously presented himself in front of the police university declaring his stand for justice. He is seen shouting his message to stand for what is right as he enters the university which is meant for the elite people.
Throughout scenes of the students' lives during a fierce police training, Kang Sun Ho proudly declares through a voice-over, "Police university, the birthplace of justice. Where we prioritize the country and its people."
Then, Kang Sun Ho is seen taking the blame when he and his friends were caught sneaking a late-night snack. The voice-over continues, "We will preserve our honor. At every moment."
Throughout, the trailer looked like a commercial video that promotes the university. From threats of experiencing hell through the training, the trailer proceeded to advertise the university's extracurricular activities.
Perhaps the Kdrama will also feature romance as the trailer also showed scenes of Kang Sun Ho and Oh Kang Hee in a library, which is a place of learning. But transformed into a place of love.
The voice-over proceeds to conclude that everything starts at the police university. Surprisingly, Kang Sun Ho reappears as he passionately declares that he will get into the university no matter what happens.
At the end of the teaser, curiosity blooms in professor Yoo Dong Man's character. He suggests to a detective that there might be something suspicious going on in the university.
When will Police University Kdrama start?
Police University will release its first episode via KBS2 TV on August 9 at 9:30 PM KST. International fans can anticipate legally streaming the Kdrama online through Viki and Viu starting August 10. English subtitles will also be provided.
