You've already seen the teaser for Kaldheim, but the trailer for the upcoming Norse mythology-inspired Magic: The Gathering set has yet to be released, but today, the NY Game Awards has announced on Instagram that its 10th annual awards show will premiere the official trailer for Kaldheim.

"Special thanks to @wizardsofthecoast, Platinum sponsor of the 10th Annual #NYGameAwards! Their support allows us to continue to open doors for underserved youth with an interest in videogame journalism. #RaiseYourAxe with us during the #NYGameAwards on Jan. 26 as we premiere an all-new @wizards_magic trailer showcasing the #MTGKaldheim set!"

Just like the teaser, the new Kaldheim trailer will most likely feature the main antagonist, Tibalt. Hopefully, we also get to see Vorinclex as well as the other planeswalkers featured in the lore of Kaldheim: Kaya, Niko Aris, and Tyvar Kell.

Earlier this week, Magic head designer Mark Rosewater confirmed that Wizards of the Coast is planning to release the new trailer, but didn't provide a premiere date. Now that we know it will be released on Jan. 26, just two days before the set's digital release on Magic: The Gathering Arena and Magic Online.
