This is Miller's 25th published Magic card, and it marks his return to the popular card game after nearly a 25-year hiatus. His last published Magic card for the 1997 Weatherlight expansion set.

Varragoth's opening bid ask was $5,000, but one buyer ultimately took the art with the final price of $27,000. The Showcase art for Varragoth looks wickedly cool, and it's good to see the return of a legendary Magic artist after more than two decades.
