Raise your axe! Wizards of the Coast has released the official trailer for the upcoming Norse mythology-inspired Magic: The Gathering set, Kaldheim. The minute-and-fifteen-second teaser gives us a glimpse of the Viking plane of Kaldheim, and a legendary weapon of "unimaginable chaos". The footage also reveals the return of the half-devil, half-human planeswalker, Tibalt.

Tibalt's exact role in the story of Kaldheim is still a mystery, but it looks like he will be a primary villain. Earlier this week, Wizards confirmed that two planeswalkers will be returning: Kaya and Tibalt, and the set will also introduce two new planeswalkers: Niko Aris and Tyvar Kell.
The teaser looks pretty epic, and I'm excited to learn how the mysterious legendary weapon will be significant in Kaldheim's story. The video is part of Kaldheim'sWeek of Metal sneak peek before the official previews start on Jan. 7.
