WandaVision will undoubtedly be the first of its kind not only for Marvel but apparently, for Disney+ as well. The highly anticipated MCU spinoff series starring Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will mark a huge first in the streaming service's history as it will premiere back-to-back episodes on its debut!

The exciting MCU news was confirmed via an official press release distributed by Disney to select members of the press. Now, it's looking pretty evident that Marvel Studios is trying to make it up to fans who have experienced quite the content drought which lasted for over 500 days. The studio's last release came in 2019's Spider-Man: Far From Home and finally, after several delays, WandaVision is only one week away from us.

The official synopsis for WandaVision reads:

Marvel Studios' WandaVision blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

Excitement and anticipation are slowly building for the entire Marvel fandom and even though it's crazy to think that it took us this long to get ourselves fresh MCU content, at least it's looking like they're starting Phase 4 with a huge bang. What are your expectations for the much-awaited Marvel series?

Consisting of nine episodes, WandaVision will premiere on January 15, 2021, only on Disney+.
