Yoda Actor Frank Oz Reportedly Headed For Star Wars: Episode VIII Pinewood Set

Master Yoda may have died decades ago, but there's no saying a Yoda Force ghost won't be appearing in any future Star Wars film. A new report is now hinting on that possibility.

According to Making Star Wars, Frank Oz is headed for UK to visit the sets of Star Wars: Episode VIII at Pinewood Studios Furthermore, the site details that one of the sets in Pinewood for a puppet scene on Ach-To.

There are no other details regarding Oz's Episode VIII set visit. Of course, it would also pay to take a grain of salt with anything that's rumored on the Internet. However, if these speculations are indeed true, it would be awesome to see a ghost Yoda wielding his wisdom upon Luke, or probably Rey, in the highly anticipated film.

It's also worth mentioning that Yoda's voice was included in Rey's Force visionin Star Wars: The Force Awakens and that the Master Jedi almost appeared in the film as well. The 71-year-old actor also lent his voice to several Star Wars Rebels episodes.

And as if those aren't convincing enough, Episode VIII director Rian Johnson also mentioned the potential of bringing back Yoda in his film during a The Talkhouse Podcast.

Johnson even had this reply to bringing Frank Oz's puppet on set:

You kidding? How could you not. How could you not!
