It’ll be interesting to see what the fallout of the first season’s finale is for Suletta and Miorine. Now, the first Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Season 2 visual was released, highlighting the main duo’s strained relationship.
Season 1’s post-credits scene was certainly a brutal one to watch, and it’s something that will surely affect Suletta and Miorine moving forward, especially Miorine, as she witnessed a deeply traumatic event.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury’s Shocking Finale
The Witch from Mercury began as an interesting twist on the typical Gundam formula. While other Gundam anime are often grim and serious affairs, The Witch from Mercury had lighter, slice-of-life elements.
As the season progressed, some dark and disturbing events started to happen, but they were not enough to make the show a heavy watch. That was the case until the first season’s shocking finale.
During the final episode’s events, viewers saw a disturbing sequence of events, starting with Guel Jeturk accidentally killing his father as he tried to make his way to Suletta.
Right at the end, Suletta rescues Miorine and her father, Delling, from an enemy. Though instead of dispatching the foe non-lethally, Suletta crushes him with no remorse.
The gore of seeing the body disintegrate into a red splatter is already disturbing enough, but what made it worse is how Suletta seemed unaffected by what she did.

Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Season 2 Visual
While there’s no trailer for the second season yet, Gundam: The Witch from Mercury shared the first key visual for Season 2, and it features a changed dynamic between the two main characters.
In the visual, Miorine and Suletta have serious expressions, with Aerial’s revamped version in the background. You may check out the visual here:
While this echoes the first teaser visual for the series, Miorine and Suletta are facing opposite directions.
This is in sharp contrast to how they are reaching out to each other in the Season 1 visual.
This might not be a huge detail, but it does indicate how Miorine and Suletta’s budding relationship will be heavily affected.
It’s possible that the two could grow apart in the next season, especially given Suletta’s disturbing development.
Fans won’t have to wait too long for the next season though, as Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Season 2 will premiere this April.
