Tom Hiddleston may not be associated with his character as, arguably, Loki as it is one of the best portrayals he ever had. He embodied the character and brought it to life since he made his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and now that he got his own canon series, he continued to prove why he has been loved by fans and viewers. Now that Season 2 has been confirmed, will he be in it?

The finale episode of Loki Season 1 has given us a softer side of Loki as he finally admits to Sylvie how important her safety is to him, showing how valuable she is in his life. Loki even got in the way of Sylvie killing He Who Remains just to make sure that she would be okay, but, in the end, Sylvie got her glorious purpose, and to do this, she shoved Loki into the Time Variance Authority, except it was in an alternate timeline wherein Kang was openly ruling the TVA.

Loki was frantic and trying to get some help. He approached people who were familiar to him, Mobius and Hunter B-15, who were confused when he warned them about the alternate realities were starting to branch out. They called him an analyst and he realized that he was in a different version of the TVA when he saw the statute of He Who Remains instead of the Time-Keepers.

Albeit the post-credits scene being short, only confirming that there would be a Season 2, what was on the paper or the case file is the name of Loki Laufeyson. It only indicates that our beloved Tom Hiddleston would have an extended stay in the MCU and would be in for another run of his titular series.

Also, reportedly, he would be reprising his role in the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and while his last encounter with Stephen Strange was one which is not really good, Loki's knowledge as regards the reason for the multiverse opening would surely prove useful in the future of the MCU. Maybe, just maybe, this time, he would finally be the key hero working hand in hand with the protagonists rather than being on the other side of the coin.

Tom Hiddleston surely has broad-acting skills as he could really pull of whatever is served on his plate, may it be a comedy, action, or even drama. We have seen him do it all in Loki. His versatility goes beyond the screens and in the finale episode, we all got our hearts torn when we saw him tear up while pleading to Sylvie to spare He Who Remains. Talk about compassion finally coming into Loki, right?

Expect Tom Hiddleston's return in Season 2. Loki finale is currently streaming on Disney+.
