Tom Hiddleston To Return as Loki in Doctor Strange 2

It looks like fans are getting more of Loki a lot sooner than they thought. Tom Hiddleston is reportedly returning as the God of Mischief in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness next year.

There is little doubt that the Asgardian mischief-maker will be back in his Disney+ series. The season finale of Loki confirmed that Season 2 is happening although the official release date has not yet been announced. Interestingly, a new report strongly suggests that Hiddleston will be back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2022.

An update from The Hollywood Reporter points out that the Loki season finale appeared to set the stage for Doctor Strange 2 as the multiverse is unleashed. This strongly implies that the God of Mischief will be one of the major players in the Multiverse of Madness since he was somehow responsible for unleashing it.

We love the idea of Loki showing up in Doctor Strange 2 since this would mean that the sequel will have him working with Benedict Cumberbatch's Sorceror Supreme and Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch. On the other hand, it is important to point out that Marvel has not yet confirmed whether Hiddleston is joining the MCU flick.

At this point, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if Loki is revealed to be one of the characters trying to fix the Multiverse of Madness. We're hoping that Marvel will make it official when the first trailer for Doctor Strange 2 is dropped later this year.

All episodes of Loki are now streaming on Disney+. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is scheduled for release on March 25, 2022.
