A new MCU series has finally come out for Marvel Phase Five. Secret Invasion tells the story of how Nick Fury has finally come back to Earth after years of staying with Skrull refugees in space.
Considering the overdue Marvel Phase Five is finally moving forward, hereās a list of every cameo that appeared in Secret Invasion!
WARNING: This article contains MAJOR SPOILERS for Secret Invasion, so READ AT YOUR OWN RISK!
All Cameos That Appeared in Secret Invasion
Secret Invasion is, without a doubt, expected to feature major S.H.I.E.L.D. agents we have already met across the previous MCU films and series, and this includes Maria Hill (Cobie Smulders), Prescod (Richard Dormer), and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman).
But did you know there are other MCU characters starring in the Disney Plus series, as well?
James āRhodeyā Rhodes
While Nick Fury and Maria Hill were reuniting in Moscow, Secret Invasion showed āRhodeyā (Don Cheadle) talking with the President, who wants him to track down the two aforementioned agents considering they have been pretty AWOL lately.
It was only in halfway through the series when Secret Invasion confirmed that the Rhodey we've been seeing since the beginning was none other than a Skrull pretending to be him, which explains why he ended up firing Nick Fury from the government, so as to keep him off their tracks.
Fortunately, Skrull Rhodey was then killed by the end of the series, leading us to where the real Rhodey was -- taken hostage at the Skrulls' base.
Agent Sonya Falsworth
Played by Olivia Colman, Agent Sonya Falsworth kidnaps Nick Fury upon returning to earth to see for herself whether Fury is actually prepared to battle against the Skrulls infiltrating the Earth.
Sonya admits, in spite of meeting an old friend again, she refuses to believe that Fury is ready to lead the war.
Sonya's character has been quite a treat to the MCU roster, considering her quick wit and unhinged (unconventional) tactics in getting what she needs from hostages, including from the Skrulls.
She is unafraid to follow her gut and pursue her intentions without so much as batting an eye. If Secret Invasion Season 2 were to happen, the MCU fans are all in for her return.
Talos
Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) is the first Skrull that Carol Danvers and Nick Fury befriended in the first Captain Marvel movie, the living proof that Skrulls werenāt an evil race in the MCU.
Considering that Talos has long been working with Nick Fury, his showing up in the series should come to no surprise, given he is going to help them defeat the ābadā Skrulls looking to invade Earth.
Upon meeting with Fury again, Talos also revealed that his wife, Soren, has died. Soren was last seen in the post-credits scene for Spider-Man: Far From Home, where the couple had disguised themselves as Nick Fury and Maria Hill.
Talos unfortunately ends up dying in the series. As to whether or not we'll be seeing him return in the MCU remains a mystery.

Everett K. Ross
Martin Freeman's Ross showed up as early as Secret Invasion Episode 1 to introduce the MCU series, but all the while he had actually turned out to be a Skrull in disguise. He was killed on his first appearance.
It was only in Secret Invasion Episode 6 when he was revealed to have been long held captive by the Skrulls, his prison a few meters away from Rhodey's at the Skrulls' base camp.
Gāiah
If you can remember, Gāiah is the daughter of Talos and Soren, first introduced as a small child in Captain Marvel.
However, in Secret Invasion, she is now all grown-up, siding with Gravikās resistance in building their new planet of Skrullos by terrorizing Earth.
This also marks Emilia Clarkeās (Game of Thrones) official debut in the MCU!
While we didn't get to see her in action much in the early episodes, we did get the Secret Invasion finale to show her off as the MCU's most empowered Skrull in the franchise, considering that with the Super Skrull DNA running through her veins, along with the Avengers' DNA, she is able to wield the Avengers' powers and abilities at her own will!
Gravik
Gravik (Kingsley Ben-Adir) is the main villain in Secret Invasion who led a new group of Skrulls to terrorize earth, those who share the same vision as he did, which was to invade earth and claim it as their new home, 'Skrullos.'
We get our introduction of him being ruthless in just the first episode, where he had not only pulled off a terrorist attack in Moscow, but even murdered Maria Hill in the guise of Nick Fury.
Gravik's existence in Secret Invasion had also brought in a new canon Marvel Comics concept and that is the Super Skrulls' DNA and abilities, which further strengthened his part in the entire invasion plan.
If Secret Invasion Season 2 were to happen, though, we would not be seeing Gravik return, seeing as he was defeated by none other than G'iah in the finale.
Elizabeth Hill
Maria Hill's mother attends her funeral in Secret Invasion Episode 2. Played by Juliet Stevenson, Elizabeth took one look at Fury and said, "So, you're the reason I am taking my daughter back home in a box."
After that, she went on to tell Fury to not let her daughter's sacrifice go to waste, considering Maria had always looked up to Fury since the day they started.

Priscilla Fury
Lo and behold, the first ever appearance of Nick Fury's wife in the MCU. Played by Charlayne Woodard, this is the official debut of his wife in the franchise. However, don't be fooled. Fury might have to keep his eyes open in trusting his wife again.
Apart from playing the role of being Nick Fury's wife, Priscilla (or Varra, as her Skrull birthname), is a part of the Skrull race and had continuously supported her husband amid Gravik's call to war against the human race.
She has also played quite the mother figure to G'iah when they needed to bury her father, Talos, in the traditional way the Skrulls used to do on their planet.
President Ritson
Dermot Mulroney, who played President Ritson aka the President of the United States, was being manipulated by the Skrulls into thinking his planet was not in danger at all.
In fact, Skrull Rhodey had led him to believe he could be trusted amid the potential World War III against Russia.
Upon wrapping up Secret Invasion Episode 6, when the President found out what the Skrulls had done, he ordered his soldiers to eliminate every single leader in America, fully convinced that each one of them were Skrulls.
Despite Nick Fury's attempt to persuade the President this would merely cause war amongst real humans who were not actual Skrulls, the President's response was to 'get them (Skrulls) off this planet'.
Rick Mason (Black Widow)
O-T Fagbenle's appearance as Rick Mason was quite the surprise when he showed up in Secret Invasion Episode 5, when he helped Fury escape America to get to Finland and that was by offering to take him on a private jet.
Mason also helped Fury disguise himself to get past through security by making use of the 'Widow's Veil', which was a mask that could shapeshift Fury's face into someone else.
We once saw this same mask when Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff used it back in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Black Widow.
