After getting released in September, Ryan Murphy's Dahmer -- Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story hasn't left the list of the top watched shows on Netflix. So it's actually no surprise that the streaming giant has decided to renew the show and turn it into an anthology by ordering more seasons. And the good news is that Netflix has ordered the show to return for two more seasons.

What Will Monster Season 2 Be?
The first season of Monster dove into the horrifying true story of one of the most notorious serial killers of all time, Jeffrey Dahmer. This is why the official title of the show was Dahmer -- Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. The succeeding two seasons of the show will turn to other murderous people and change the titles accordingly.
Netflix has already promised that the two new installments will be about "other monstrous figures who have impacted society."
Dahmer -- Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story followed the murderous life of Evan Peters as Jeffrey Dahmer. The upcoming seasons of Monster have not yet been confirmed, but we're placing our bets on John Wayne Gacy or maybe even Marilyn Manson.
This, however, is unconfirmed at this point.
Will There Be A The Watcher Season 2?
Yes, along with the renewal of Monster, Netflix has revealed that they also ordered a second season for another true crime show by Murphy, The Watcher.
The announcement was made by Netflix via Twitter:
"Following the record-breaking success of DAHMER - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, Ryan Murphy & Ian Brennan will create two more installments that will focus on other monstrous figures who have impacted society.
A second season of The Watcher has also been greenlit!"
The Watcher is another show that has stayed on the top watched list ever since it made its debut on October 13, 2022.
Who Created Monster?
Murphy created Monster and The Watcher together with Ian Brennan and Eric Newman. Netflix's head of global TV, Bela Bajaria said:
"Audiences can't take their eyes off Monster and The Watcher. The creative team of Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan on Monster along with Eric Newman on The Watcher are masterful storytellers who captivated audiences all over the world. The back-to-back force of these two series is due to Ryan's distinct original voice which created cultural sensations and we are thrilled to continue telling stories in the Monster and Watcher universes."
