Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story seems to set the stage for its second season with the appearance of another notorious serial killer John Wayne Gacy. Also known for his alternate persona, Pogo the Clown, will he be the focus of the possible Monster Season 2?

Gacy appeared on the final episode of Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story. Now that the story about Dahmer is completed, will Netflix and Ryan Murphy tell another story about a monstrous murderer?

Will There be Monster Season 2?

Netflix has yet to reveal any possibilities that there will be another outing of the biographical crime drama.

After the end of the 10-episode miniseries, it’s probably hard to continue the story of Dahmer. The show perfectly tied all the loose ends, and it even ended with the death of the Milwaukee Monster.

If Netflix renews the show, it will feature another life story, which can be Gacy’s.

The show has become the No. 2 most popular TV series on Netflix, with over 700 million hours viewed, making it a huge success.

Alternatively, Murphy has made a mark in making suspense and thriller anthology series, like American Horror Story.

So, it may not be far that Monster Season 2 will be in the works in the future, featuring Gacy.

Who is John Wayne Gacy; What is His Connection to Jeffrey Dahmer?

Gacy is known as the Killer Crown. He donned clown costumes as his other persona when volunteering in children’s hospitals and charitable events, earning him the name Pogo the Clown or Patches the Clown.

But behind the colorful and jolly costume is a much-darker persona. Just like Dahmer, he was a convicted serial killer and sex offender.

He would rape, torture, and murder his victims, totaling at least 33 young men and boys, in Chicago, Illinois, throughout the 1970s.

Dahmer himself denied the similarities between them, but the way they killed their victims was very the same.

They both targeted young men, used strangulation as their killing method, hid the remains inside their homes, and used drugs to help them commit their crimes.

Despite that, they never had the chance to meet as they worked in different cities. Gacy was also arrested when Dahmer committed his first murder in 1978.

Gacy was also executed at the time Dahmer was baptized. But if there’s one difference, Dahmer admitted to his crimes, while Gacy refused.
