Warrior Nun is a Netflix original series that tells the story of Ava, a young woman who dies and is brought back to life when a holy relic is placed within her. She now lives as a nun, the one and only Warrior Nun, who uses the power of the Halo to fight off evil and defend humankind from demons. The Warrior Nun Season 3 Release Date: When Will the Third Season of The Warrior Come Out?
As of writing, it seems Warrior Nun Season 3 is not happening.
If the third season of the series follows the same trend as the first two seasons, we may see Warrior Nun Season 3 around early 2024.
The first season of Warrior Nun premiered on July 2022, right when most of the world was stuck inside as the pandemic had just started and social quarantine restrictions were in place. Viewers loved the show, which seemed unexpected because of the obscure graphic novel that inspired the series, but it quickly propelled to the top.
Netflix announced the series’ renewal only a couple of months later, on August 2020, but the second season of Warrior only recently came out on November 2022.

The Warrior Nun Season 3 Cast: Who are the Actors Included in the Series?
Most of the cast members from the series' first two seasons may be returning to play their characters in Warrior Nun Season 3.
Alba Baptista is The Warrior Nun
Alba Baptista may reprise her role as The Warrior Nun in season 3 after playing the lead role of Ava Silva.
Baptista recently caught the spotlight after seemingly low-key confirming her relationship with Captain America himself, Chris Evans.
The couple was photographed strolling hand in hand. They tried to be inconspicuous by wearing heavily tinted sunglasses and face masks, but they were still easily recognized.
The Rest of the Congregation
Baptista will hopefully be joined by the rest of the original cast from the series, including Kristina Tonteri-Young as Sister Beatrice, Toya Turner as Sister Mary (also known as Shotgun Mary), and Thekla Reuten as Jillian Salvius.
We may also see Lorena Andrea as Sister Lilith, Tristan Ulloa as Father Vincent, and Sylvia De Fanti as Mother Superior.
Aside from these returning actors, we may also be meeting new faces playing new characters in the third season.
The Warrior Nun Season 3 Crew: Who are the Creatives Behind the Scenes?
The series is based on the graphic novel by Ben Dunn.
Simon Barry created the show for television and has also written some of the show's episodes. The other writers who crafted episodes for the series are Amy Berg, Matt Bosack, and Terri Hughes Burton, who may return to write for the third season.
Barry also directed some episodes in The Warrior Nun Season 2 alongside Sarah Walker. They may also be directors who will work on season 3.
The Warrior Nun Season 3 Plot: What Will be the Plot of the Netflix Original Series?
Warrior Nun Season 3 may be picking up right where the series' second season left off.
In an interview with Looper, series creator Simon Barry teased the second season.
Well, I guess we were holding back so many secrets in a way in season one. The fact that we now have the cat is out of the bag, so to speak, in terms of the mythology of the show. I think it’ll be really exciting to take that journey and unpack what we’ve revealed.
The appearance of Adriel, the relationship with Father Vincent, and also as the stakes have changed for Ava and the other sister warriors. For me, it really is building on what we did well in season one — and hopefully doing a better job at season 2, if we get it.
Warrior Nun Season 2 ended with another cliffhanger, just like the first season's ending.
We learned that there is a chance that Adriel kept control of the Earth to keep humanity safe from any threats from his realm, even if it meant he had to enforce religious subjugation.
The Warrior Nun Season 3 may tell Adriel’s story and how he arrived on Earth. The following season will also most likely address what happened to the Halo and to Ava, and may also explain Lilith’s role in the greater scheme of things.

There is still no trailer for Warrior Nun Season 3. If the third season follows the same trend as the first two seasons, we may see the trailer at least a month before the official release date of the series.
