WandaVision actress Elizabeth Olsen has got to be one of the most low-profile celebrities out there and it's truly amazing how she manages to keep her personal life extremely private despite her current status and her name growing in popularity. That's not to say though that she hasn't had her fair share of issues concerning her "actions" and just recently, the Wanda Maximoff actress found herself in hot water.

Olsen is the latest Marvel star to get dragged into controversy by fans. Just like her Marvel co-star Chris Pratt, Elizabeth is getting canceled by the internet over allegations of racism. It all started when Olsen's recent interview with Vanity Fair's Still Watching podcast caught the attention of fans.

In the said interview, Elizabeth purportedly made a racial slur about Wanda Maximoff, calling her a "gypsy". The term is deemed offensive and derogatory by Romani people. Prior to the incident, Elizabeth apparently said the same thing about the character in a 2015 interview with Graham Norton, and the host even pointed out that she shouldn't be using that term.

Now, fans are calling out the actress for committing the same mistake twice. Even her most loyal followers decided to "unstan" the actress after finding out about the interview. Check out some of the reactions below:

Back in September, the 31-year-old actress deactivated her Instagram account, and multiple sources reported that fans harassed her for not speaking up about co-star Chadwick Boseman's untimely death.

I don't know, but at this point, I'm already getting real sick of "cancel culture" and how it tries to manipulate people into spreading nothing but hate and negativity. Now, I'm not trying to defend Lizzie but I'm pretty sure she didn't mean to say "gypsy" in a malicious and offensive kind of way. People need to cut her some slack and exert their energy on something else.

Meanwhile, new episodes of WandaVision air every Friday on Disney+.
