Marvel films, especially movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe are adored by fans the world over for being vibrant, colorful, and essentially looking like a moving comic book. The MCU is also known for its usual incorporation of humor and an excessive amount of quips but so far, we've yet to see Marvel Studios integrate some horror elements into their product.
However, that changes in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and according to Kevin Feige himself, the film which will star Benedict Cumberbatch and Elizabeth Olsen will officially be the MCU's first horror film.
We still don't know how things will go down in the 2022 film but WandaVision's latest episode is already giving fans a taste of Marvel's capability to deliver the creeps to fans. During the latter part of Episode 4, Vision is seen in his lifeless state and it's almost as if he was a zombified version of himself for a second. Wanda later turns around to see a glimpse of the "true" Vision and boy, it was a major jump scare moment.
The shocking scene terrified the people who watched the episode and they totally weren't expecting something horrific to pop up on their screens. See some of the reactions below:
Things are certainly getting borderline creepy in WandaVision and I don't think everyone was prepared for it considering the fact that it's been drenched in the colorful world of sitcoms the last couple of episodes. Still, it's a welcome change in the franchise and only goes to show that the MCU can pull major surprises when we least expect it.
All four episodes of WandaVision are now available for streaming on Disney+.
