It's no secret that Elizabeth Olsen isn't that fond of how Wanda Maximoff looks in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and for years, the actress has been pushing to wear a new costume in the franchise, something that didn't show much skin compared to her previous outfits. Finally, Marvel Studios listened to her sentiments and was given a "proper" Scarlet Witch suit that not only shows lesser skin but closely resembles her comic book look.
However, you'll be surprised to know that Olsen almost didn't wear the Scarlet Witch outfit she donned in the finale episode. Official concept artwork from WandaVision has been making the rounds all over social media showing the alternate designs for Wanda's costume.
Apparently, the studio almost went with a design much similar to her Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame outfit, except looking more stylized. It's like a combination of her most recent costume and her short-lived look from the ending sequence of Avengers: Age of Ultron. It's not a bad-looking costume but it's definitely night and day compared to her previous one. Check it out here:

Thankfully, none of the proposed concept designs were approved by the powers that be, and in the end, Olsen was given an outfit befitting her hero status in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Meanwhile, Wanda will return in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness but as it stands, her true role in the film remains a mystery. Is she going to help Stephen Strange or is she going to wreak havoc in the multiverse? I guess we'll just have to wait and see and personally, I hope Wanda stays on the good side.
