People don't give WandaVision enough credit for it, but the show pretty much delivered some legit fan service to its viewers since the first episode. Now, we didn't think it was actually possible but the series gave us Elizabeth Olsen in Wanda Maximoff's "classic" comic book costume and considering the actress has always been skeptical about wearing the racy leotard in the MCU, it was truly delightful to see her in Scarlet Witch's iconic colors.

Now, you may be wondering, what exactly made her reconsider after all the years of being cynical about it. Lizzie opened up about it on the special behind-the-scenes documentary for WandaVision and according to the actress, her love for the Marvel Cinematic Universe fandom and her renewed passion she discovered for the source material convinced her that she had to don Wanda's comic-accurate look.

She explains: "In Age of Ultron, everyone referenced certain comic books for me to focus on and told me, ‘Don't pay attention to what she's wearing. You're not gonna be in a leotard, tights and a crown on your head. I swear.' And I was like, ‘Oh, thank God.'"

"And now, the way we incorporated the retro costume of the Scarlet Witch on Halloween, it gave me so much joy. Like, if you were to ask me seven years ago to wear that, even if it were ironically, I would be like, ‘Oh, really?' But now that I've so much love for the fandom and so much love for the comics, it's so fun to be in that costume."

It's well-documented that Olsen has had issues with the way her MCU costume looks and she personally didn't like the fact that Wanda had to show too much skin when her fellow female heroes were fully clothed. Thankfully, Marvel Studios listened to the actress' request and ended up getting what she's been asking for since Age of Ultron.
