Vincent D'Onofrio Breaks Silence on Charlie Cox's Daredevil Return

Recently, after months of rumors and speculations, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige finally confirmed that Charlie Cox is set to return as Daredevil soon in the MCU although he didn't say which specific project will he be making his first appearance. Regardless, it is worth celebrating as fans have been clamoring for his comeback on the role which ended abruptly a few years ago. Now, Cox's former Daredevil co-star has also joined the celebration.

Vincent D'Onofrio, who played Kingpin in Daredevil, took to Twitter to share his reaction to the exciting news. He said, "So happy for Charlie Cox he really deserves this. He's a great actor and a wonderful guy. He put so much into playing DareDevil in such a unique way. Love this news. #NoFearNoGreedNoEnvy"

While Feige has finally confirmed that Cox will be returning as Daredevil in the MCU, there's no information about which project he will be appearing in. However, there have been rumors that he will be showing up in Spider-Man: No Way Home. He is also rumored to show up in She-Hulk, Echo, as well as a Daredevil reboot series that has also been reported by some of the scoopers. Feige has also hinted that the other Marvel characters from the Netflix shows might also be joining the MCU soon.

Besides Cox, there have also been rumors that D'Onofrio himself will be reprising his role as Kingpin very soon in Hawkeye. The actor has been repeatedly denying it even though the recent episode heavily implied it. Fortunately, a new episode is coming very, very soon so we will find out in just a short amount of time (or in another episode) if D'Onofrio does return on the role of Kingpin in the MCU just like his former Daredevil co-star.
