Kevin Feige Addresses the Possibility of Other Netflix Marvel Characters Joining the MCU

Recently, we finally got our long-awaited confirmation from Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige himself that Charlie Cox's Daredevil will be appearing in the MCU soon. A lot of fans were delighted by the news and are looking forward to seeing his reintroduction. Now, they are wondering if the other Marvel characters from the Netflix shows such as Jessica Jones and Luke Cage will also be joining the MCU soon.

In an interview with Screen Rant, Feige addressed the possibility of having the Marvel characters from the Netflix shows show up in the MCU someday. He didn't specifically say if we would ever see them again, but he did offer a promising comment. He said, "I always say that whenever a character comes back into the Marvel sandbox, it becomes another tool in the storytelling ability of the MCU. As I said before, the good news is, all will be revealed when people actually finally watch."

Given that Daredevil is going to be included in the MCU soon, there is a possibility that we might see characters such as Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Punisher, Iron Fist, and the others show up in the MCU, with their respective actors reprising the roles. However, Netflix and Marvel had an agreement that the latter cannot use the characters two years after the shows got canceled so it might take a little more time before we get to see it happen.

In the case of Daredevil, the series was canceled in 2018 and, by this time, it's already three years since then which means that any characters from Daredevil are now allowed to be part of the MCU. While Feige didn't confirm which project Daredevil will be part of, there have been rumors that he will show up in Spider-Man: No Way Home as well as in She-Hulk and Echo. There are also rumors that Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin will be showing up very soon in Hawkeye.

Given that Marvel has so many film and TV projects in their slate (with some of them not even yet announced) and the agreement between Netflix and Marvel, it might take a while before we'll get to hear any news or updates about the other Netflix Marvel characters appearing in the MCU.
