Vincent D'Onofrio Reportedly Returning as Kingpin in Hawkeye

There is little doubt that fans are already expecting Charlie Cox to return as Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home. But is it possible that another Daredevil character will join the Marvel Cinematic Universe a lot sooner? A new report suggests that Vincent D'Onofrio is going to reprise his role as Kingpin in the upcoming Hawkeye series.

The Cosmic Circus reports that D'Onofrio will show up in Hawkeye this November. The report even suggests that Wilson Fisk is set to appear more "larger than life" than he originally did in the Netflix series.

If this isn't exciting enough for you, it is revealed that Kingpin is playing a huge role in Hawkeye. As the report puts it, Fisk will be "large and in charge" in the series. This could mean that the Daredevil villain will be one of the main baddies going up against Clint Barton this November.

But wait, there's more! It is also reported that Kingpin will appear in another MCU series after Hawkeye. Considering his connection to Maya Lopez in the comic books, Fisk is set to be one of the main characters in the Hawkeye spin-off show Echo.

We're loving Kingpin crossing over to the MCU but it's also important to point out that Marvel has not yet confirmed that D'Onofrio will be joining the cast of Hawkeye. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

Hawkeye starts Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, Brian d'Arcy James, and Alaqua Cox. The series will premiere on Disney+ on November 24, 2021.
