Following the season’s announcement back in April, To Your Eternity Season 2 finally has a release date which was announced alongside the release of a new key visual and cast members.
The season’s release date and other info were revealed on the show’s website and official Twitter account.

In the tweet, the new characters and their voice actors were announced. First up is Hisame, who is played by Tomori Kusunoki, the voice actress of Llenn from Sword Art Online Alternative Gun Gale Online. She is also the voice of Makima in the upcoming Chainsaw Man anime.
Next is Kahaku, who is voiced by Mitsuki Saiga who plays Yelena in Attack on Titan: The Final Season. Finally, we have Bonchien Nicoli la Tasty Peach Uralis, who is voiced by Takehito Koyasu, the voice actor of Dio Brando from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.
These new cast members join the returning voice actors, including Reiji Kawashima as the main character, Fushi.
As for its staff, the new season features Kiyoko Sayama as the director. The new season is animated by Studio Drive which replaces Brains Base from Season 1.

To Your Eternity is an anime series that’s based on the manga of the same name by Yoshitoki Oima, the author of A Silent Voice. The manga is currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine.
In its story, the series follows a boy who is wandering the Arctic region as he meets a wolf. The two become dependent on each other for survival.
But it turns out that the wolf is no ordinary creature, as it is a mysterious and immortal creature from outside Earth.
The series’ unique premise and great quality gave it critical acclaim. Not only was it praised by numerous critics and fans, but it also won the 43rd annual Kodansha Manga Awards in 2019 in the shonen category.
To Your Eternity Season 2 will release on October 23, 2022. It will premiere on NHK Educational in Japan. Meanwhile, the series is confirmed to release on Crunchyroll.
