To Your Eternity Season 2 Trailer Confirms Release Window, New Production Studio


The second season of To Your Eternity is officially coming this year and now we have the first trailer revealing the anime's release window. In addition to that, it has been confirmed that Season 2 will be produced by a new studio!

The first trailer for To Your Eternity Season 2 opens with a small glimpse at an older Fushi before showing glimpses at returning characters like The Beholder as well as new characters who will play important roles in the anime. It concludes with the confirmation that the second season will premiere in Fall 2022. Check it out below.

To Your Eternity Season 2 will be directed by Kiyoko Sayama while Shinzo Fujita is in charge of Series composition. Koji Yabuno works on the Character design, Ryo Kawasaki will compose the music and Takeshi Takadera serves as Sound Director.

The most interesting detail revealed in the trailer is that the Season 2 production will be handled by Drive. The first season was produced by Brain's Base but it looks like the anime will take a new direction this year.

To Your Eternity is based on the manga by Yoshitoki Oima. The story follows an immortal being simply known as Fushi who was sent to Earth by an otherworldly entity called The Beholder. While on Earth, Fushi embarks on a mission to preserve knowledge and information, and as he takes the form of a young boy, begins to learn how to communicate with humanity and builds relationships with the people around him.

The second season of To Your Eternity will bring back Reiji Kawashima as Fushi while Kenjiro Tsuda returns as The Observer. The rest of the voice cast has not yet been announced. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
