Thor Star Chris Hemsworth Gives a Sneak Peek of Netflix's Extraction 2


Chris Hemsworth bagging the role of Thor secured his name to be forever ingrained in Hollywood and with wits, humor, and action all in one person, the star eventually risen to be one of the most popular actors in today’s time. He, then, got various roles in action films and one of those is Extraction 2, the sequel of the first Netflix movie, and he took it online to give a sneak peek of his character’s return.

On Instagram, Hemsworth shared photos of him on the set of Extraction 2 and he wrote, "Week two down on Extraction 2, here's a couple ice cold snaps from @jasinboland @netflix @samhargrave @agbofilms."

During the TUDUM event of Netflix, it was announced that Extraction 2 will be happening after the successful release of the first and Sam Hargrave would be directing once more. Hemsworth reprises his role as Tyler Rake and he would be having a small reunion with the Russo brothers, Joe and Anthony, as they would produce the film like the Marvel movies of Hemsworth.

Extraction was one of the biggest Netflix movies released this year and the sequel will bring us to a more extreme situation where the weather contributes to the challenging action that the film has in store. Hemsworth plays Tyler Rake, a merc of the black market and he was tasked to rescue the son of an international crime lord in prison. He goes on a deadly mission to save the child.

As for Thor: Love and Thunder, the production had officially wrapped last June which was confirmed by Hemsworth, himself, along with a photo of him with the director of the movie, Taika Waititi. The film is expected to be the moment of Jane Foster, former flame of the God of Thunder, as she takes on helming the Mjolnir.

Extraction 2 is expected to be released in 2022. Thor: Love and Thunder is scheduled to be out in theaters on July 8, 2022.
