Chris Hemsworth Shares Killer Workout and Training for Extraction 2

Chris Hemsworth has got to be one of the most sought-after actors in Hollywood right now and after finishing work for Thor: Love and Thunder, one would think that the Australian star can finally catch a break. Apparently, that's not the case as Hemsworth is now gearing up for his return as Tyler Rake in the upcoming sequel for Extraction. The action flick became one of Netflix's biggest hits last year and it no longer comes as a surprise how the streaming giant greenlit a sequel.



Chris is often lauded by his fans and peers for the way he takes care of his body and truth be told, his godlike physique doesn't just happen overnight and it's definitely the result of hard work. On Instagram, the Marvel Cinematic Universe actor showed off his killer training routine in preparation for Extraction 2, and this time around, he's changing up his regimen.

According to him, he's "transitioning from heavyweight training to a lot more bodyweight functional movements concentrating on agility, strength, and speed," pretty much hinting that he could be doing some pretty insane stunts in the sequel. Check it out here:

Hemsworth is quite a busy fellow and it's amazing how he has managed to keep himself in tiptop shape despite his busy schedule plus all the uncertainties brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, it'll be interesting to see if Extraction 2 will be able to top its predecessor because quite frankly, the first one was an action masterpiece. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Netflix's Extraction sequel does not have an official release date. Meanwhile, Thor: Love and Thunder is expected to hit cinemas in May 2022.
