With only a few weeks left for Thor: Love and Thunder, a new teaser arrives for the movie which highlights the Guardians of the Galaxy with the titular hero and the upcoming villain, Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher looking more sinister than ever with his All-Black The Necrosword decimating a planet.

One of the most awaited arrivals in Thor: Love and Thunder other than Jane Foster being the Mighty Thor is the villain of the movie: Gorr the God Butcher who will pose a threat to god-kind as he vows to kill them all and eradicate their existence with his all-powerful weapon, the All-Black The Necrosword.

In the teaser, Thor is seen with the Guardians and the Asgardians in two different battles and by the end of it, the clip shows a more sinister look of Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher with a sample of how powerful his All-Black The Necrosword is – it decimated a planet in just one stab and in the same planet, a battle with Thor ensues.

While Thor’s weapon, the Stormbreaker, can kill a Titan like Thanos, the All-Black The Necrosword can definitely kill a god as if it is built for that purpose.

In the comics, the god, Knull, was fighting begged for Gorr’s help and since he was enraged with the death of his loved ones, Gorr picked up the All-Black Necrosword and killed the god. After that, he made a vow to kill all the gods in existence. He traveled the cosmos and ventured for thousands of years to make sure that no god will ever survive.

In the movie, it seems that Gorr’s story is pretty much the same. Having the All-Black The Necrosword can deliver him his vow and make it come true, that is, if Thor could not stop him in time. Surely, it's going to be an epic fight especially with the Mighty Thor joining the battle.

Thor: Love and Thunder premieres in theaters on July 8, 2022.
