The Marvels won't just serve as the MCU debut of popular Korean actor Park Seo-joon, but it will also mark his Hollywood debut after years of emerging as one of the biggest stars in Asia thanks to his starring roles in hit Korean drama shows.

The What's Wrong with Secretary Kim star is set to play the role of Prince Yan, who is described as the charismatic prince of planet Aladna and also happens to be Carol Danvers' husband and ally.

While we don't have the details yet on how exactly his character will play out in the story of the film, he has been prominently featured in the film's marketing campaign and has shown up in a couple of shots in their trailers.

Now, a new report has emerged surrounding Park's screen time and it looks like you may have to temper your expectations regarding his appearance in the film.

According to insider @CanWeGetToast on X, Prince Yan's appearance in The Marvels will be "significant but brief." They also poked fun at Disney for prominently featuring him in their marketing despite his minimal screen time.

Prince Yan was included in the recently released character posters for the film alongside Carol Danvers, Monica Rambeau, Kamala Khan, Nick Fury, and Goose. Interestingly enough, the film's main villain Dar-Benn was absent.

For fans who are eagerly excited about Park's appearance in the upcoming MCU film, you may have to temper your expectations as it sounds like his screen time won't be as large as the marketing may suggest.

Still, his character is still described as "significant" so it's not necessarily an extended cameo and, given that he will be introduced as Carol's husband, that alone suggests that he will have some prominence in the story despite the "brief" screentime.

As we've seen in many films and TV shows that we have seen in the past, an actor can still make a huge impact on the screen regardless of their screen time or their character being lead or supporting.

From a marketing standpoint, it is also strategic for them to include Park since he is popular in Asia and, with the film's underwhelming early box office forecast, Disney needs to do whatever it can now to hype up the audience.

The Marvels is set to arrive in theaters this November 10.
