The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Revealed New Secret Villain

We already know that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will feature the Flag-Smashers, a new terrorist group who will be facing off against Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes. However, the premiere episode of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series may have teased the arrival of another mysterious new villain other than Baron Zemo.

In the first episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, we get our first glimpse at the Flag-Smashers, thanks to Sam's new friend Joaquin Torres. It is also confirmed that the terrorists have a Super Soldier named Dovich who immediately knocks Joaquin unconscious.

New World Order certainly confirmed that the Flag-Smashers are not an ordinary terrorist group. But who provided these people with a Super Soldier or maybe a serum that would help them gain super strength? The answer might be in the show's credits.

Some fans have noticed that the credits featured a small tease that said, "Power Broker is watching." It's a curious Easter Egg considering that Power Broker is one of the few Marvel comic book characters who is connected to making drugs that can give you superpowers. He might even be the key to creating the new Falcon.

In the comics, Curtiss Jackson works with Dr. Karl Malus who has experimented on several people including Joaquin Torres, who he turns into a human/bird hybrid. Although it's unlikely we'll be seeing the same thing happening in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, there's a possibility we'll see Joaquin's origin story and how he becomes Falcon II.
