There is little doubt that Bo-Katan Kryze proved she is one of the most awesome characters in the Star Wars Universe after an amazing display in The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 2. But what can we expect from the Duchess in the future? If Katee Sackhoff had her way, she wants Bo-Katan to reunite and work with Obi-Wan Kenobi on an epic mission.
Katee Sackhoff plays the live-action version of Bo-Katan Kryze in The Mandalorian and she previously provided the character's voice in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. With that in mind, Sackhoff knows Bo-Katan pretty well and she believes that the next step for her character is to reunite with Obi-Wan Kenobi.
"There's so much in Bo's backstory that is still existing in a timeline that's playing right now," Sackhoff told Fandom. "We know she knew Obi-Wan. We know that they had contact and that is a world that she could potentially exist in…"
In The Clone Wars, Bo-Katan and Obi-Wan worked together to free Mandalore from the oppressive reign of Darth Maul. However, their effort came at a price as Maul killed Bo-Katan's sister (and Obi-Wan's beloved) Satine Kryze. Needless to say, the two have enough history to consider a reunion.
But is it actually happening in the future? Sackhoff was quick to point out that Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau are carefully planning things out right now but she still believes it could be something that should be considered.
“There are places that she could actually go still and we know that Dave and Jon and everybody else is taking it very seriously. When one production does one thing, they make sure moving forward that it works for the rest of the productions because it is this overarching thing where they want that symbiosis between all of them. They want everything to be able to go together and they take it very seriously,” she said.
Bo-Katan Kryze is set to return in The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 3 which premieres on Disney+ on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
