The Mandalorian Season 3 delivered another banger of an episode and so far, the series has been off to a great start. Chapter 18 finally took fans on an adventure on the planet of Mandalore and things escalated pretty quickly. The episode begins with Din Djarin paying Peli Motto a visit in hopes of getting some spare droid parts for IG-11.

However, Din and Grogu were left with no choice but to recruit R5-D4 to their mission after Peli insists on selling the droid to him. To his credit, "Red" (that's what Luke Skywalker called him) was able to serve his purpose and test Mandalore's atmosphere.

As Mando was exploring the bowels of the planet, he gets captured by a cyborg creature, and not even Grogu's ability to use the Force could help him break free from the situation. This then leads to him instructing Grogu to head back to Kalevala to seek Bo-Katan's help who surprisingly agreed to rescue Din despite the growing animosity between them.

She successfully vanquishes the menacing creature with the help of the darksaber. While Bo-Katan wielding the weapon raises a few questions, seeing her finally use the darksaber in live-action was quite rewarding. On Twitter, fans couldn't help but gush over Bo-Katan's badass moment.

If you may recall, the previous season ended with the revelation that Bo-Katan must defeat Din in order to regain possession of the darksaber. While we still don't know if the duel did take place, it's safe to assume that with the time jump that has occurred between Season 2, The Book of Boba Fett, and Season 3, the two might have actually squared off with Mando overcoming Bo-Katan.

The Mandalorian's Chapter 18 is now streaming on Disney+.
