What Happened Before The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 3?
The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 2, Chapter 18: The Mines of Mandalore, starts with Tatooine on Boonta Eve as Peli Moto swindles a Rodian, then, Din Djarin and Baby Grogu arrives as they are looking for an IG memory circuit replacement.
Motto requests Jawas whether they could scour for one but unfortunately, there is none so, instead, she tries to sell her R5-D4 which is an astromech as a replacement of his droid's socket, to which, Din Djarin accepts. Boonta Eve even lit fireworks to guide them while leaving.
Din and Grogu proceeds to Mandalore where he tours Grogu to his home, Concordia, and even taught him how to read the maps on the ship. Once they broke through the clouds, they see the greenery of the place.
The magnetic fields of the place are so disrupted, communication outside it becomes impossible. Din makes sure it is safe to land, thus, sending R5 to get some atmospheric sample. Din follows R5 and leaves Grogu on the fighter.
Din finds a signal in a cave but he is attacked by three aliens where he puts them to the ruins below and he, then, sees R5 and brings him to the surface. There, they find out that the atmosphere is breathable.
In what seems like an underworld, they pass through the ruins of the place where Din finds a Mandalorian helmet but something grabs him while Grogu is able to escape. Din has been trapped and disarmed by the crab droid.
When it left, Grogu frees Din but as he uses his Force, it is enough to alert the droid to return. Din orders Grogu to get help from Bo-Katan, which, upon Grogu's arrival, she already knows what to do. They go to Mandalore in search for Din.
Bo-Katan opens to Grogu about the Jedi and she is stopped by the aliens called Alamites. As for Din, he is already being drained of his blood but Bo-Katan and Grogu arrives in time to save the day. Surprise, Bo-Katan wields the Darksaber!
Din goes into recovery with the help of Bo-Katan and they proceed to the Living Waters where she tells Din about when Manda'lor the First found a mythosaur. Din bathes into it while reciting the Creed, and when he went too deep, Bo-Katan sees the mythosaur.
