The Mandalorian Season 2 has Star Wars Fans Worried about Korkie Kryze

There is little doubt that people were delighted when Bo-Katan Kryze finally made an appearance in the latest episode of The Mandalorian Season 2. However, Star Wars fans were also concerned by the way Bo-Katan introduced herself since it strongly suggested that something happened to her nephew Korkie Kryze.

In Chapter 11: The Heiress, Bo-Katan and her companions saved Mando and Baby Yoda from Quarren and his men. She then introduced herself to Mando, stating that she was "Bo-Katan of Clan Kryze, I am the last of my line."

Although this wasn't something that new fans were particularly concerned about, Star Wars: The Clone Wars fans immediately started worrying about Korkie, who was last seen in the fifth season trying to save his aunt Duchess Satine Kryze.

So why is Korkie's fate such a big deal? In The Clone Wars, Korkie was being trained to become a future leader and potentially take over the seat of Mandalore. He is that one character who could lead Mandalore but if he is indeed dead, this could explain how Moff Gideon managed to get his hands on the Darksaber.

There is a possibility that someone, perhaps Gideon, had challenged Korkie when he finally ruled Mandalore. It is possible that he was defeated and the Darksaber was taken from him, leading to Bo-Katan having to find a way to reclaim it.

On the other hand, there could be other ways that led to Bo-Katan claiming she was the last of her line. Is she hiding Korkie since he could be the next ruler of Mandalore? Perhaps the truth will be revealed in the next episodes of The Mandalorian Season 2
