One of the greatest things about The Book of Boba Fett was seeing Ahsoka Tano interacting with Luke Skywalker. But how did the two Star Wars characters meet in the first place? The Mandalorian executive producer Dave Filoni is teasing the iconic meeting between two of the most loved Force users!
Dave Filoni recently attended Star Wars Celebration and in an interview alongside fellow The Mandalorian executive producer Jon Favreau, he admitted that he had mapped out the epic first meeting between Ahsoka Tano and Luke Skywalker.
"Yeah, I have a whole story about that that I devised many years ago actually," Filoni said. "I had to put that tile in place to do what I'm doing now and understand it."
This is truly exciting and it would be awesome to see just how it went down. However, Filoni also stated that he isn't quite sure how to make it a reality.
"I haven't found a way to tell that story yet. I told a piece of it afterwards, but yeah, we'll see. You'd love it, it's a great story," he said.
For now, we're not sure just when exactly we'll get to see the meeting between Ahsoka and Luke. Fans are hoping it would happen in The Mandalorian Season 3 since that's the next Star Wars series that will be released in the next year that will be within the same timeline as The Book of Boba Fett. However, it is still unclear if we'll see it anytime soon.
The Book of Boba Fett brought back Rosario Dawson and Mark Hamill as Ahsoka and Luke, respectively. Dawson will return in her character's solo series which is set to premiere on Disney+ next year. The Mandalorian Season 3 has not yet been given an official release date but is expected to return on the streaming service by early 2023.
