The Book of Boba Fett Sees Historic Encounter Between Luke Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano

Warning: if you haven't seen the latest episode of The Book of Boba Fett, this article contains major spoilers so read at your own risk!

The Book of Boba Fett may have been a slow burner but as the show's finale approaches, Lucasfilm is turning the dial up to 11 with all the surprises and revelations. Last week's episode saw the triumphant return to the Star Wars of the one and only Mandalorian after nearly two years and as exhilarating as that was, it pales in comparison to what Chapter 6 achieved.

Titled "From the Desert Comes a Stranger", the epic 47-minute episode almost felt like a mini Star Wars movie with all the major characters featured in it. Not only did it see Luke Skywalker and Grogu return, but the said chapter also marked the first time we see the Jedi master interact with Ahsoka Tano who also makes her live-action return.

Judging by the way they acted around one another, it's quite evident that the two beloved Jedi have known each other for quite a while but the episode doesn't really explore the connection between the two. Well, not yet, at least. Of course, longtime followers of the Star Wars franchise are well-aware of the rich history shared between Ahsoka and Luke's father Anakin aka Darth Vader, having served as his apprentice in Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

Mad props to Dave Filoni for giving us yet another stupendous MandoVerse episode and honestly, it almost feels unreal how Star Wars has been treating fans well the last couple of years. One thing's for sure, Lucasfilm is making up for all the atrocities that were committed in the sequel trilogy and it's something the fandom appreciates.

The Book of Boba Fett Chapter 6 is now streaming exclusively on Disney+.
