Fans who have been watching the Spy x Family anime are slowly learning more about the Forgers. But for those who want to know more about the characters right now, the franchise's official fanbook Eyes Only has all the answers they seek. Interestingly, the book has revealed some unexpected details about Yor and Loid Forger!
Spy x Family Official Fanbook: Eyes Only was released in Japan by Jump Comics on Monday and fans are finally discovering some cool details about Yor, Loid, and Anya Forger. For instance, the book confirms that Yor is a better fighter than Loid, getting a rating of 100 against her husband's 60-70 rating.
That's not the only awesome thing we learned about Yor in the book. It is also confirmed that she is much stronger than she looks but her actual grip strength could not be measured "because the instrument breaks." Additionally, it looks like she still has trouble cooking.
As for Loid, his cooking skills were honed way before he got married. When asked if he had a specialty, creator Tatsuya Endo revealed that Twilight had previously taken on a mission as a master chef.
"He acted as a top chef before, so he can make anything," Endo wrote.
We're loving all these cool details about the Forgers and the characters we have yet to meet. Needless to say, we can't wait for the anime's next episode to see if there will be more characters introduced in the future.
But what can we expect in Spy x Family Episode 5? The preview teased an epic showdown between Yor and Loid so we can't wait to see that.
Spy x Family Episode 5 is titled Will They Pass or Fail ("Gohi no Yukue") and is based on the manga's Chapter 6 (the fourth episode adapted the fourth and fifth chapter). The new episode will air on Saturday, May 7, 2022.
