While season 1 is only 12 episodes long, the show covered 45 chapters, meaning it adapted the first seven arcs of the manhwa.

This may seem like a lot compared to manga adaptations, but that’s because the Solo Leveling manhwa chapters are much shorter than a typical manga chapter.

Thus, fans can start reading the manhwa from chapter 46 if they can’t wait for the second season to find out what happens next.

As for season 2, it’s not clear how many arcs it will cover, especially as there’s also no word yet on an episode count.

If it also gets 12 episodes, chances are that it will end just before the Jeju Island arc if the same pace from season 1 is followed.

It’s possible that the Jeju Island arc will be adapted though, given that this is one of the manhwa’s most exciting arcs. That is if the second season will have a faster pace.
