What Is Solo Leveling: Ragnarok All About?
Solo Leveling: Ragnarok is a web novel series that is a sequel to the Solo Leveling story we know and love.
In it, the main character is Sung Su-Ho, son of Sung Jin-Woo and Cha Hae-In.
Being Jin-Woo's son, Su-Ho is overpowered to the point of having the opposite problem from his father.
While Jin-Woo started with barely any power, only becoming strong after a near-death experience, Su-Ho manifests powers as a toddler.
Being the son of the Shadow Monarch is harder than expected. As it turns out, Su-Ho is so strong that his father is forced to seal his powers and wipe his memories of them so that he can have a normal life.
But when the Gates that once threatened humanity open once again, Su-Ho is forced to rediscover his Hunter heritage and fight to save the world.
Is There a Solo Leveling: Ragnarok Manhwa?
As of writing, there is no Solo Leveling: Ragnarok manhwa. However, given the first webtoon's amazing success, we think that it's just a matter of time.
For the time being, you can find Solo Leveling: Ragnarok in light novel form (also known as web novel due to its online status) on Tapas media.
Is Solo Leveling: Ragnarok Canon?
When Solo Leveling: Ragnarok was announced, some fans were concerned about its status in the Solo Leveling canon as they felt that it gave off a different vibe. However, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok is canon.
Part of the confusion stems from the fact that Solo Leveling: Ragnarok isn't being created by Chugong, who worked on the original manhwa.
That being said, Daul, the new creator writing the much-anticipated sequel, is an author affiliated with D&C Media, who worked to bring the original webtoon to life.
Tapas Media, which hosts the English version of the Solo Leveling sequel, is an online space where fanfiction isn't unheard of. However, given Solo Leveling's popularity, they would be unlikely to host a non-official version.
