But Prince William and Kate Middleton’s happy marriage is not without controversy. Way before Prince William and Prince Harry’s feud was publicized, the Prince of Wales had already made headlines amid claims that he had an affair with his and Middleton’s good friend, Rose Hanbury.
The rumors died down naturally, and it was made clear that the dubious stories about Prince William’s alleged affair couldn’t have been more inaccurate. But just recently, the made-up reports once again made headlines.
According to Marca, Prince William was spotted having a meal with Hanbury at an Italian restaurant in London. And the dad of three allegedly also gifted Hanbury with a necklace for Valentine’s Day.
However, no photos of their rumored outing were ever released online to prove that Prince William and Hanbury indeed hung out.
Back in 2019, rumors of an affair first swirled after a Twitter user made shocking claims against Prince William.

Prince William And Rose Hanbury Affair Rumors Made Headlines Again Due To Prince Harry And Meghan Markle?
Meanwhile, Now to Love also claimed that the rumors regarding Prince William and Hanbury having an alleged affair once again made headlines because of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
In the couple’s Netflix documentary Harry & Meghan, the Duke of Sussex claimed that the royal family was happy to protect his brother, but the Institution couldn’t do the same for him and his wife.
Shortly after, speculations swirled that one of the issues that Prince Harry was referring to had to do with Prince William’s affair. Even though the dad of two did not mention Hanbury in the documentary, there are claims that he must have felt upset with the royal family’s decision to lie about his brother’s infidelity to protect Prince William’s reputation.
“They [the media and the royal family] were happy to lie to protect my brother. They were never willing, to tell the truth, to protect us,” Prince Harry said.
Meghan Markle Was Thrown To The Wolves To Deflect Attention From Prince William’s Rumored Affair?
Markle, on the other hand, said that she felt as though she was being fed to the wolves. And some royal fans theorized that the Duchess of Sussex must have felt that the royal family fed her to the wolves to deflect attention away from Prince William and Hanbury.
And if Prince Harry and Markle’s Netflix documentary will have a second season, some royal fans are reportedly convinced that the couple could touch on Prince William and Hanbury’s alleged affair in the upcoming episodes.
