Queen Elizabeth's death paved the way for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to reunite with the royal family. King Charles III was the first to give the Duke and Duchess of Sussex a shoutout during his first address as the new monarch. He said that he is sending the couple love as they continue their lives in the United Kingdom.
And then there's Prince William, who reportedly reached out to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle following the queen's death. The heir to the throne, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry, and Markle surprised royal fans when they got out of the car to greet mourners outside Balmoral.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Still Uneasy With The Royal Family
But according to royal expert Christopher Andersen, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are still uneasy toward the royal family even though they accepted the olive branches for the sake of the queen.
"We've seen that in a recent interview that Meghan gave. It'll take an awful lot, I think, for those to get things back to where they were, and it's all sad," he told Us Weekly.

Will King Charles III Ask For Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's Help Now That He's Monarch?
Andersen also said that there's a possibility for King Charles III to request Prince Harry and Markle's presence in the UK more often because he would need all hands on deck now that he's the monarch.
During his first address as the king of Britain, he admitted that he would no longer be able to do everything on his own now that he was already in his 70s. He said that he would rely heavily on the other members of the royal family, especially Camilla Parker-Bowles, Prince William, and Middleton.
However, only time will tell if King Charles III would entrust some of his duties with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. After all, Prince Harry and Markle have already adjusted to their lives in the United States.
Meghan Markle Has Been Sharing Her Negative Experiences With The Royal Family During Her Interviews
During a recent interview, Markle proved that she still has some unresolved issues with the royal family. And Andersen might be correct in saying that she and her husband would need time to repair their relationships with the British clan.
Markle revealed that there's a rule that if they want to share a photo of their children with the public, they first need to send it to the Royal Rota. Markle said that this didn't make sense to her because these are the same people who have been criticizing her children's appearance.
"There's literally a structure by which if you want to release photos of your child, as a member of the family, you first have to give them to the Royal Rota. Why would I give the very people that are calling my children the N-word a photo of my child before I can share it with the people that love my child? You tell me how that makes sense and then I'll play that game," she said.
The Suits alum also revealed that she was forced to return to her royal duties in Africa even after she told the royal family that her son Archie's nursery caught on fire.
These are just some of the things that Markle and Prince Harry couldn't understand or accept because they already involved their children.
