What Happened in Peacemaker Episodes 1, 2, and 3?
In Peacemaker Episode 1, A Whole New Whirled, it is set five months following the events in The Suicide Squad in Corto Maltese where it was revealed that Peacemaker survived from the injuries he got. He is now discharged and upon returning home, he gets a surprise visit from A.R.G.U.S. agents which are John Economos, Clemson Murn, Emilia Harcourt, and Leota Adebayo, who turns out to be the daughter of Amanda Waller.
A choice was given to Peacemaker on whether he would be back to Belle Reve prison or join them in “Project Butterfly.” Peacemaker goes to his father, Auggie, where he gets Eagly and a new costume. Peacemaker receives a dossier from Murn while the former tries to flirt with Harcourt but ended up with a different woman. It turns out the woman has superhuman strength and he, in turn, destroyed the woman with his helmet.
In Peacemaker Episode 2, Best Friends, For Never, Peacemaker tells Harcourt about the incident with the woman who has a sonic boom weapon. She and Adebayo went to the apartment of the woman. Peacemaker tried to take hostage of a couple and escaped with Eagly, Harcourt, and Adebayo. Auggie was pointed to be the one who took the couple hostage and he was arrested, there, other inmates called him as the “White Dragon.”

Meanwhile, Peacemaker realized that the reason why the woman attacked him was because of the dossier that he has with him. He returned to his trailer where he encountered Vigilante and he attempted to loosen Peacemaker up with some target practice. Together, they found out that the sonic boom device of the woman was from a miniature spaceship.
In Peacemaker Episode 3, Better Goff Dead, Murn tells Peacemaker about their new mission which is a huge one as they have to assassinate US Senator Royland Goff for being suspected as a butterfly along with his wife and children. Peacemaker hesitated because that would result to killing children even when he said that he would spare no one in achieving “peace.”
Peacemaker and Harcourt went to the house of Goff and they were secretly followed by Vigilante who soon joins them. Well, Goff shows some alien-like behavior and Peacemaker couldn’t kill the whole family. Vigilante did the deed and they soon encountered the bodyguard of Goff, Judomaster. Goff tortured Vigilante and it was revealed that he is Adrian Chase in his normal life.
When Peacemaker was about to tell some information, Murn, Harcourt, and Adebayo arrived to intervene and this gave Peacemaker was able to kill Goff in the process. Economos incapacitated Judomaster and from the dead body of Groff comes a butterfly-like creature.
