The first three episodes of Peacemaker finally premiered on HBO Max in which, by the end of the third episode, we learned what Peacemaker, Vigilante, and the A.R.G.U.S. team are going to deal with on the rest of the season: saving the world from an invasion by butterfly-looking aliens hence the name of their mission "Project Butterfly."
Now, a trailer for the fourth episode of Peacemaker has been released via TV Promos which gave us a look at what will happen on the next episode as well as a glimpse at the rest of the season. It showed us Peacemaker and the team dealing with the aftermath of the third episode, the detectives hunting down Peacemaker, Peacemaker talking with his father in prison, and Peacemaker dealing with an existential crisis. We also get to see the team do a lot of awesome action sequences. You can check it here:
Based on the trailer, it looks like the rest of the season will be more bonkers and zanier as they try to deal with the fact that butterfly aliens are trying to invade the world. It also looks like the subsequent episodes will deal more with the character study of Peacemaker where we see him starting to question himself and his principles. It just looks like it's going to be fun and we can't wait to see what big surprises await.
While we don't know the viewership records of the episodes yet, based on the responses around social media, the reception has been positive so far. A lot of viewers also praised the opening credits of the series which has been regarded as one of the best on TV in recent years. There's a lot of excitement now for the rest of the season as they're curious to find out what will happen next.
