Oshi No Ko Season 2 Confirmed With Announcement Teaser

It's official: Oshi no Ko Season 2 is coming soon! The anime's return was confirmed right after the first season's final episode through an awesome announcement teaser and key visual. In addition to that, fans got a special B-Komachi video as well.

Oshi no Ko Season 2 Drops Announcement Video and Key Visual

The special announcement video was released right after the Oshi no Ko season finale concluded. Although it features footage from the first season, it's an awesome tease at what viewers can look forward to in the future.

Additionally, a new key visual for Oshi no Ko Season 2 was dropped. The illustration features all the major characters who will play huge roles in the show's upcoming return.

The anime clearly has a lot of treats for fans who have been following Oshi no Ko from the start. A special video features B-Komachi's performances of their songs “STAR☆T☆RAIN,” “Sign wa B” and "HEART's♡KISS."

Oshi no Ko is based on the manga series of the same name written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It follows a doctor Gorou Amamiya who was set to help the pregnant idol Ai Hoshino but is murdered as she goes into labor.

Gorou finds himself reincarnated as Ai's son Aqua while his patient Sarina is reincarnated as Ai's daughter Ruby. When Ai is murdered by the same man who killed him, Gorou is determined to find out whether the father of her children was involved in her killing. Will Aqua solve his mother's murder while supporting his sister's dream to become an idol just like Ai?

For now, Oshi no Ko Season 2 is still in early development and has not yet been given an official release date. However, there are speculations that the series will return by the end of the year or in early 2024. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
