Olivia Wilde just responded to her ex-boyfriend Jason Sudeikis’ custody papers that were handed to her while she was during a presentation for her thriller, Don’t Worry Darling.
At the time, Harry Styles’ girlfriend was evidently taken aback by the move after a man approached her and gave her an envelope. When Wilde opened it and saw it was custody papers, she tried her best not to react publicly.

But in her statement, Olivia Wilde said that it was evident that her ex wanted to threaten her with the documents.
“Jason's actions were clearly intended to threaten me and catch me off guard. He could have served me discreetly, but instead, he chose to serve me in the most aggressive manner possible. The fact that Jason would embarrass me professionally and put our personal conflict on public display in this manner is extremely contrary to our children's best interests. Since Jason has made it clear that we will not be able to work this out for our children's sake outside of the court system, I filed a petition for custody in Los Angeles,” she said (via Entertainment Tonight).

Jason Sudeikis Apologizes To Olivia Wilde
Sudeikis, on the other hand, claimed that he instructed for the custody papers to be delivered to Wilde while she was at Heathrow Airport. So, he was also surprised to learn that the actress received the documents while she was on stage.
According to the actor, he didn’t want Wilde to be served with the custody papers because he was worried that their children would be around to witness it.
“I did not want service to take place at the home of Olivia's current partner because Otis and Daisy might be present. I did not want the service to take place at the children's school because parents might be present. I understand that the process server had only done her job; however, I deeply regret what happened. Olivia's talk was an important event for Olivia, both professionally and personally, and I am very, very sorry that the incident marred her special moment,” Sudeikis said.
As of writing, it’s unclear what will happen to Sudeikis and Wilde next, but fans can only hope that they reach an amicable custody agreement for the sake of their children, Otis and Daisy.
